Our first gathering in 2025 will be on Wednesday 5 February at 6 pm with Songs that Reconnect in Noordhoek (address TBC). We introduce the Spiral of the Work that Reconnects through our heart-warming Songs that Reconnect format every month in Cape Town. Our collection of Earth Songs reminds us of our deep belonging to this world and to this crucial threshold of the Great Turning, welcoming a regenerative and thriving future for all beings.

We welcome all voices and all genders. Bring your shakers, instruments, and a cushion. There is no need to know how to sing. Song sheets are provided. Please arrive at 5.45pm, in order to settle into the space.

The Active Hope Circle

Building Connection & Resilience in South Africa

Next circle on Tuesday 18th March – 6 to 7:30pm SAST – 4pm to 5:30pm UK

In these encounters we shall have the opportunity to experience some reconnecting practices around the Spiral of the Work that Reconnects but also to engage in facilitated conversation around themes that speaks to our community.

These monthly spirals will also allow for the emergence of more practice of the Work that Reconnects in South Africa, spreading important tools for these times of growing complexity. We wish to facilitate inclusive conversations inspired by our diversity.

OUR THEME FOR THE FIRST GATHERING OF OUR CIRCLE IS: “Feeling a Part of the Web of Life”.

These gatherings offer a supportive space to explore our feelings about the state of the world, deepen our sense of interconnection, and find renewed inspiration for action.

Each session will guide us through the spiral of The Work that Reconnects—Gratitude, Honoring Our Pain, Seeing with New Eyes, and Going Forth—helping us cultivate resilience and collective strength in the face of ecological and social challenges.

Whether you are new to this work or already engaged in transformative action, you are welcome. Let’s come together to share, listen, and co-create a thriving, regenerative future.
