Coming Up…

Gather with us for Songs that Reconnect on Wednesday 26 November at 6 pm at the uniquely crafted Samhitakasha Cob House, in Muizenberg . This is the final celebration of our powerful voices and our collective longing with us this year. We shall sing around the Spiral and this time we shall include the beautiful “Harvesting the Gifts of the Ancestors” ritual dance. And for those who wish they’ll be some tasty snacks and conversations afterwards (until 9pm). Join our circle to reconnect to yourself and the Earth in you in this safe and enlivening container. Please invite people who would like to sing and dance with is too.
Please bring your shakers, instruments and a cushion (song sheets are provided) . Arrive at 5.45pm, in order to settle into the space. The exchange is R150 to R200 payable by EFT. Please confirm your place to receive further details.
We are looking forward to gathering with you in sacred space.

The Active Hope Circle
Building Connection & Resilience in South Africa

Ahoy companions!
We will meet next week on Tuesday to travel around the Spiral of Active Hope.
This is an opportunity to familiarise yourself with this body of work or engage in a monthly practice with facilitators of the Work that Reconnects . These methodologies offer solace to our confused souls in these times of ‘Business as Usual’. This is a collective of heart-minds yearning to go in the direction of the Great Turning with a renewed sense of belonging to this beautiful world.

I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing you and feeling revitalised by our practices and truthful sharing.

Threads of Connection: The Global Fabric of the Work That Reconnects
The Work That Reconnects speaks to a universal human longing—to belong, act with courage, and find meaning in uncertain times. Threads of Connection, an initiative from the Social Justice Committee of the WTR Network, brings together facilitators from around the world, each session highlighting a different continent.
Join us Friday, December 12, 12:30–14:30 IST for a panel with Amanda Yik (Hong Kong), Joanna Tomkins (South Africa), and Rukmini Iyer (Mumbai), moderated by Denise Pang (Norway). Panelists will share their journeys, explore adapting core texts, and reveal points of resonance across cultures.
