Join Joanna Tomkins and Rachael Duffy on 8th November in the Newlands Forest for this Truth Mandala where we come together to express our anger, grief, anxiety, hope and love for our world.

While grief is not usually an emotion that is welcomed in our society, we offer this ritual in recognition that emotions that are not allowed their full expression can cause blockages in our minds, bodies and spirits.
This process, drawn from the Work that Reconnects, is an invitation to bring the fullness of what you are feeling about what is happening in our world (and/or in your personal lives) right now, and to be held in a sacred container, in community. This way of truly honouring our grief can be extremely transformative and healing, and reminds us of how to rest back in care and compassion, in recognition of our interbeing.
We look forward to being together in our fullness. Booking essential. Please WhatsApp 0834165572

Celebrate our last gathering in 2024 on Tuesday 26 November at 6 pm with Songs that Reconnect in Muizenberg at the beautiful Samhitakasha Cob House. Please join us in celebrating our beautiful Earth Mother and our community connection at this special edition of Songs that Reconnect. We will have tea and snacks available afterwards for all those who can stay longer (9 pm)!
The vibration of our singing voice allows our gut to inform our hearts and quieten our minds. In the expansive, liminal pool of collective song we can better listen to our world.
Our song circles follow the spiral of the Work that Reconnects, a beautiful body of work designed to nurture a regenerative and thriving future for all beings, in these times of the Great Turning.
We welcome all voices and all genders. Bring your shakers, instruments, and a cushion. There is no need to know how to sing. Song sheets are provided. Please arrive at 5.45pm, in order to settle into the space.
Exchange: R100 to R200 suggested
Please book in advance on Whatsapp 0618646799 or email gaiaspeaking@gmail.com. And please spread the word. Let’s sing!
Let’s join our hearts together in song and ritual, with Earth songs focused on giving voice to our truth, to our will to heal ourselves and the wider Earth community. Our song circles follow the spiral of the Work that Reconnects, a beautiful body of work designed to nurture a regenerative and thriving future for all beings, in these times of the Great Turning.

At Ecolution, Joanna Tomkins and Simric Yarrow will be offering a 2 hour Exploring the Spiral workshop
They shall guide you through the 4 stages of the spiral, which is at the base of the Work that Reconnects. The WTR practice is formed by a collection of group ceremonies and concepts that help us express and process our Gratitude (1) for being alive in these times as well as our Pain for our World (2), which flows into Seeing with New and Ancient Eyes (3) to Go Forth (4) with ‘Active Hope’. In this particular setting, we’ll focus on our connection to the ancestors, land and land beings of the Wellbeing Sanctuary. We invite the Ecolution sangha to join us in the creative and participative rituals selected for this occasion. We will drop in with meditation and small group sharing, including feelings of joy and sorrow, and also the sense of aliveness, belonging and purpose that arises with that, using tools including roleplay, movement, poetry and brainstorming. Looking forward to co-creating this spiral with you and many other connecting practices during this pioneering event!
